VelaFi exposes two REST API environments — production for live traffic and sandbox for integration testing. Every API call you make is prefixed with one of these base URLs. Choose the sandbox environment during development so that your tests never touch real funds or user data, then switch to the production URL when you are ready to go live.
All requests to both environments require the X-BH-TOKEN header containing a token from GET /v2/token/generate. Keep your production credentials secret and use separate sandbox credentials during testing.

Usage

Prefix every endpoint path with the base URL that matches your target environment. For example, the countries list endpoint becomes:
Store the base URL in an environment variable such as VELAFI_BASE_URL so you can switch between production and sandbox without touching your code.
